THE MISSION

Leading change for 30 years

We are on a mission to end all forms of sex trafficking and exploitation while helping survivors build safe, stable futures.

The Vision

We envision a world free from all forms of sex trafficking and exploitation where everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and the freedom to realize their full potential.

WHAT WE DO

We were founded 30 years ago to fulfill a critical gap in support services. Today, we have evolved to not only meet survivors'  needs but also tackle the root causes that enable exploitation and demand.

OUR APPROACH

How we take action to support survivors and create lasting change.

From outreach to prevention, our core programs take a holistic approach to supporting survivors and ending exploitation–at its source.

01.

Street Outreach

Sex trafficking remains a hidden crisis in the Twin Cities, making direct outreach vital. Our Outreach Advocates connect with victims and at-risk individuals in high-traffic areas across Ramsey, Washington, and Anoka counties, offering immediate support and critical resources.

02.

Long-Term Housing

Stable housing is a crucial foundation for survivors' healing and independence. We offer long-term, safe housing in Saint Paul and across the metro, providing flexibility and security for survivors and their children.

03.

Advocacy Services

Survivors face complex challenges beyond trafficking, including poverty, homelessness, addiction and legal barriers. Our advocacy services provide personalized support, from basic needs and safety planning to legal aid and resource navigation, empowering survivors to rebuild their lives.

04.

Training & Prevention

Informed, trained communities are the strongest defense against sex trafficking. Through our professional training initiative, we provide critical insights and tools to empower individuals to intervene effectively, support survivors, and drive systemic change.

Our Values

Our values, rooted in survivor-centered support and MN Council of Nonprofits' Principles, guide every interaction we have with our clients, partners, donors, community members, and colleagues.

Survivor-First

Our work begins and ends with trafficking survivors, ensuring their voices, needs, and well-being guide all that we do.

Integrity

We uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring transparency and protecting the confidentiality of the people we serve.

Innovation

We embrace life-long learning, innovation, and adaptability to evolve strategies and advance our mission and vision.

Care

We conduct our work with compassion and in the spirit of inclusion, meeting all individuals with respect and without judgment.

Collaboration

We make progress together, not alone, and always seek to build trust, solidarity, and partnership with those who share our beliefs.

Excellence

We value performance and results, and always aspire to do our best and to embrace the challenge of exceeding expectations.
